Pre-Health Programs
Students interested in pre-health programs (such as medical, dental or veterinarian) can take this minor along with a non-science major and thereby satisfy the necessary course requirements for most health professional schools. The math requirement for health professional schools is variable. Please consult with the pre-health advisor about the math requirement.

Data Science
Data Science is a new discipline that sits at the nexus of computer science, statistics, and business. Most courses are offered in a hybrid format with a mix of in-class learning and online activities. This degree blends computer science and statistics courses with business courses to render students adaptable to any domain with rigorous statistical and computational skills.

Forensic Pattern Analysis
The full or part-time Master of Science in Forensic Pattern Analysis prepares students for entry into the in-demand field of forensic science as latent print examiners, firearms/toolmarks examiners, crime scene investigators, and other related fields. Graduates of this program are case ready and prepared to make a difference.

Biological Forensics
The Master of Science degree in Biological Forensics is distinctive in name and in the training offered, yet complementary to forensic pattern analysis. The curricular path provides training in forensic entomology, forensic microbiology, forensic anthropology, biological forensics, veterinary and wildlife forensics, death investigation, DNA analysis, and fingerprints. In addition to developing a range of technical and specific skills to advance students' career options, this degree program will also enhance the broader development of students' skills in a manner consistent with Loyola's mission.
