Master's Plus

Upon acceptance, individuals with a master's degree in business from Loyola or another AACSB-accredited college or university may take courses for which they have the background. Individuals with other master's degrees may request admission through the director of graduate evening programs or director of graduate cohort programs.

Many graduate business alumni use the Master's Plus as a vehicle to prepare for certain professional certifications to stay current with their field, or explore a new one. Master's Plus students may register for elective courses within the Professional's MBA in consultation with the director of graduate evening programs or within the Master of Accounting program in consultation with the director of graduate cohort programs. Students may take up to five courses under the Master's Plus, as long as they maintain good standing as a graduate student (GPA of 3.000 or better). Additional courses may be taken with permission. The Master's Plus does not lead to a degree.

Second Specialization

Graduates from Loyola's MBA programs may enter the Master's Plus to obtain additional coursework or specializations. After successfully completing an approved three-course sequence through the Professionals' MBA course offerings, a second specialization may be earned. Consultation with a program advisor is required when selecting courses.
